Debi Kret has been a music therapist since 1996 and became board certified (MT-BC) in January 1997.
She completed her Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) certificate through Colorado State University in 2000 and received her Master of Music in Music Therapy (MM) in May 2010 from Arizona State University.
She has been a clinical training director for university interns through the Arizona State University Music Therapy Program since 2004. Debi has provided music therapy for individuals and groups of all ages and stages of life. She is the Past President for the Arizona Music Therapy Association (www.azmta.org).
Debi designed and implemented the music therapy program for Scottsdale Unified School District special education students. During her graduate work Debi’s cognate areas were Autism and Special Education. In addition to her extensive clinical practice, Debi enjoys teaching about music therapy and has presented to students and advocacy groups internationally.
